3rd Sunday of Lent

First Reading

Exodus 3:1-8a, 13-15
The angel of the Lord appeared to Moses in fire flaming out of a bush. As he looked on, he was surprised to see that the bush, though on fire, was not consumed. God called to him out of the bush: "Moses! Moses!" He answered, "Here I am."

Responsorial Psalm

Psalm 103:1-4, 6-8, 11
The Lord is kind and merciful, slow to anger, and rich in compassion.

Second Reading

1 Corinthians 10:1-6, 10-12
These things happened as examples for us, so that we might not desire evil things as they did.

Jesus told this parable: "A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard. He came looking for fruit on it but found none."
