About the Group
The name of our Association is Christian Mothers' Association ( CMA).
The Association is incorporated under the companies code 1963( Act 179)
Certificate No. G3126 on 4th May 1998 and recognized as an NGO on 28th September 1998 with registration No. DSW 1006
The headquarters of the Association is in Accra-Ghana, West Africa.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
1. To promote true Christian Family Life and Apostolate
2. To promote maximum awareness of the dignity and responsibilities of members as Christian women, wives,mothers and citizens within the Catholic Church and society at large
3. To develop spiritual, moral and socio- economic advancement of women thereby helping them to be fully integrated into society and to better their standards of living wherever they may find themselves
4. To promote Christian Education in Children in the home
5. To educate members through seminars, conferences and workshops in the acquisition of skills for economic and political empowerment
6. To foster the acceptance and fulfillment of member, mission as Christian women in their domestic, social, religious and civic life
7. To foster co- operation with other women's organizations with similar aspirations
Membership
Membership of the Association shall be opened to all Catholic women, men, sons and daughters and also people who aspire to achieve the aim of the Association through Evangelization

Meeting of local group
1. The local group shall meet at least once every month
2. Emergency meetings may be summoned when the need arises
3. Major decisions shall be made by the entire Membership
4. Decisions made by the executive shall be brought before the entire group at the formal meeting by any member for discussion and adoption
5. A quarter of the members shall form a quorum at all meetings of the group
6. The local group shall have a retreat once every year
Parish Executives
Each Parish committee shall elect from among its members the following officers as the Parish executive.

2. 1st vice president
3. 2nd vice president
4. Secretary
5. Financial Secretary
6. Treasurer
7. One co- opted member ( from each local group that is not represented on the executive)
8. The immediate Past President shall also be an ex-officio member of the parish executive

Mission Statement
MISSION We are committed to the empowerment of women, poverty reduction and enhancement of dynamic Christian values among family members. We serve these causes by supporting among family members. We serve these causes by supporting income generating activities, providing civic, health, formal and none formal education and teaching of social and moral values. VISION A well organize, well managed self-sustaining women’s group, able to continuously support the spiritual, social, economic and political empowerment of their members
